Manas Sontakke

I initially observed how the texture and character gradually shift as the terrain moves toward the sea. Drawing from this observation,I imagined my shelter as a series of terrace open, semi-open, and enclosed in nature. I arranged these spaces in a way that allows north light to enter while filtering the harsh southern sun. The minimal placement of the façade enhances the porosity of the structure, improving ventilation and maintaining a seamless connection with the surrounding landscape. As one moves through the space, the experience gradually transforms with each change in level, revealing shifting relationships between light, enclosure, and landscape.
